A jet boat is propelled by a jet of water ejected from the rear of the boat. Unlike a motorboat that uses an external propeller in the water behind the boat. A jet boat pulls water from under the boat through an intake into a pump-jet inboard.
Skiwi Marine offers basic service for most 2-Stroke and all 4-Stroke jet boats. Our workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic software & hardware to quickly analyze problems.

Jet boat maintenance doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive. The team at Skiwi Marine is committed to helping you maintain your jet boat in proper condition to ensure more hours of trouble-free enjoyment on the water.
Our basic service includes

• Checking everything is operational
• Checking forward/reverse control for cable function
• Steering system for proper operation and potential cable wear
• Removal and replace engine oil and filter
• Check oil level
• Check air filter if present
• Compression test cylinders
• Replace spark plugs
• Check fire extinguisher has not been discharged or faulty
• Run engine(s) on a water hose to ensure engines are being cooled & that there are no water leaks.

Trailer axles are greased, wheel hubs are checked for “play”, seals are checked for leaks & trailer lights are tested.
